Brundrett Middle School is seeking a Special Education Teacher, to join our Port Aransas Marlin team for the 2025-2026 school year. Applicant must hold valid Texas Special Education teaching certification as well as a 4-8 Generalist or equivalent content certification to be considered.  English as a Second Language endorsement preferred. Brundrett Middle School educates approximately 125 students in grades 6-8. 

Qualifications: 

Bachelor's degree from accredited university 

Valid Texas teaching certification with required endorsements or required training for subject and level assigned; ESL certification preferred 

Alternative certification candidates with a current Statement of Eligibility will be considered

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Knowledge of core academic subject assigned 

General knowledge of curriculum and instruction 

Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior 

Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills

Experience: 

At least one year student teaching or approved internship
